Founder & Head Coach
Aiham Shiyam's journey in tennis traces back to a lifelong dedication to the sport at the highest level. A proud representative of the Maldives, Aiham has competed on the international stage across multiple years in the Davis Cup — the world cup of tennis — carrying his nation's flag against players from around the globe. That experience forged a philosophy rooted in competitive excellence, mental resilience, and a deep understanding of what it takes to perform under pressure.
Beyond his career as a national team player, Aiham developed a passion for coaching and sharing the sport with others. His deep connection to the Maldives — a place he calls home and a constant source of inspiration — naturally led him to envision a brand that could marry his two greatest passions: the sport he loves and the islands that shaped him. Duveli Tennis is the realisation of that vision.
Today, Aiham leads the Duveli team with the same energy and dedication he brought to every Davis Cup tie. His ambition is to expand Duveli Tennis across the finest resort destinations in the world, bringing world-class coaching — shaped by years of international competition — to guests who expect nothing less than extraordinary.
